Escaping into the endless possibilities of fantasy can be cathartic and a softer lens to inspect painful, sometimes urgent issues. Her debut novel, City in the Sky Book 1 - The Salerian Timekeeper, is a story of an awkward Black woman finding her power and ultimately her peace. This representation of a Black woman in all of her beauty is one that she loved writing and hopes you love reading.

Whistler writing Festival
I made it to Whistler end of last year.
I sat in as many workshops and talks as possible.
Being a new writer, I was a little sheepish talking to established, award nominated authors.
Let me tell you I am glad I did. I was blown away by the accessibility of all the the authors I talked to and I left feeling so inspired. Definitely going next year!
Ink and Magic Retreat
I attended my first writing retreat, October of 2024... Cerece Murphy, Leslye Penelope, and Ines Johnson’s Ink and Magic retreat. I found a group of women who developed a safe space for me to create. I also found a community of friends and mentors. This retreat gave me the confidence to go forward with boldness towards my dreams!! Thank you, Leslye, Cerece and Ines.
